Shah Jamal Alam
Shah Jamal Alam studied computer science at the universities of Karachi and Saarland. He is currently a PhD student at the Centre for Policy Modelling (CPM) supervised by Scott Moss and Bruce Edmonds. His work is supported under the EU FP6 CAVES Project.

Ruth Meyer
Ruth Meyer graduated in computer science and biology from Hamburg University, Germany, and is in the final stages of completing her PhD in agent-based simulation. She is currently a Research Associate at the Centre for Policy Modelling, working for the CAVES project.

Gina Ziervogel
Gina Ziervogel is a Senior researcher at the Climate Systems Analysis Group, University of Cape Town and Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute. She completed her PhD in Geography at the University of Oxford in 2002. Her current research focuses on adaptation of vulnerable groups to climate variability and change with a focus on how climate interacts with other stresses such as water, health and food security.

Scott Moss
Scott Moss is Professor of Social Simulation and Director of the Centre for Policy Modelling in Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently the coordinator of the European 6th Framework project CAVES (Complexity, Agents, Volatility, Evidence and Scale) and was the inaugural president of the European Social Simulation Association.
