Andrew Crooks
Andrew Crooks is an assistant professor in the Department of Computational Social Science at George Mason University. He received his PhD from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) at University College London (UCL) where he focused on combining ABM and GIS for the studying residential dynamics. His research interests include ABM, GIS and visualisation focused upon city systems.

Andrew Hudson-Smith
Andrew Hudson-Smith is a Senior Research Fellow at CASA, UCL. His research interests lie in the area of virtual worlds, digital geography and virtual architecture. Andrew received his PhD from the Bartlett School of Architecture and is the editor of the Digital Urban Blog where many examples of the tools and worlds raised in this article can be viewed.

Joel Dearden is a PhD Student in Urban and Regional Modelling at the CASA, UCL. His research interests include agent-based models, spatial interaction models, complex systems, and visualisation. He holds a BEng Computing degree from Imperial College, London.
