Mohammad Afshar

Mohammad Afshar received B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from University of Tehran. He is a Research Assistant in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at University of Tehran. His research is focused on social network analysis, social computing, modeling and simulation of collective behaviors, and complex adaptive systems.

Masoud Asadpour

Masoud Asadpour was born in Lar, Iran, in 1975. He received the B.Sc. degree in computer software engineering from Sharif University of Technology, in 1997; the M.Sc. degree in AI and robotics from the University of Tehran, in 1999; and PhD in Machine Learning and Collective Robotics from EPFL, Switzerland, in 2006. He has been a researcher at Institute for Studies on Theoretical Physics and Mathematics (IPM), Iran, from 1998 to 2001 and again from the beginning of 2010 up to now. He has been a post-doc researcher in Biologically Inspired Robotics Group (BIRG), EPFL, Switzerland, in 2007. In 2008, he joined the Robotics and AI group in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tehran as a faculty member.
