Christoph Salge

Christoph Salge is a member of the Adaptive Systems Research Group at the University of Hertfordshire and a Junior Research Associate in the Information Ethics Group Oxford. He currently pursues a PhD in 'Information Theoretic Models of Social Interaction'; an interfaculty project between the departments of computer science and philosophy. His research interests also include applications of Information Theory and AI aided computer game design.

Daniel Polani

Daniel Polani obtained his doctoral degree in computer science at the University of Mainz, Germany, in 1996. After being a research fellow at the Institute of Neuro - and Bioinformatics at the University of Lübeck 2000-2002, he has been principal lecturer 2002-2008 and is now since 2008 reader in artificial life at the University of Hertfordshire. His research interests are multiagent and complex systems, artificial life, sensor evolution, neural networks and evolutionary algorithms and quantitative information-theoretical approaches to above scenarios.
