Edmund Chattoe-Brown
Edmund Chattoe-Brown has been involved with social simulation since 1994 after studying PPE as an undergraduate, Artificial Intelligence as a Master student and economics for his DPhil. He came to simulation when he realised that simulation could bridge the gap between the fascinating richness of social behaviour and the "scientific" rigour of mathematics. Since then he has developed his main theoretical interest in "socially interesting" decision-making using a mixture of simulation, qualitative research, experiments and systematic reuse of pre-existing data.
