Ben Fitzpatrick

Dr. Ben Fitzpatrick received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Auburn University in 1981, the Master of Probability and Statistics from Auburn in 1983, and the Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in 1988. After serving in the mathematics departments of University of Tennessee and North Carolina State University, he founded Tempest Technologies, a research and development consultancy, in 1998. He was appointed Clarence J. Wallen Professor of Mathematics at Loyola Marymount University in 2002.

Jason Martinez

Dr. Jason Martinez received the B.A. degree sociology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 1996, and the Master of Arts and Ph. D. degrees in sociology from the University of California, Riverside, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. He taught sociology at California State University, San Bernardino before joining Tempest Technologies in 2007.
