Nicole J. Saam, Prof. Dr. phil. is professor for methods of empirical social research at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg/Germany. She has been professor at the universities of Augsburg and Erfurt and temporary professor at the universities of Mannheim, Leipzig, and Marburg/Germany. Research fields: Social theory; social science methodology, especially social simulation; sociology of organizations, political sociology.

Wolfgang Kerber
Wolfgang Kerber, born 1958, is Professor of Economics at the Philipps-University Marburg, Germany. After receiving his Ph.D. at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, he was Director of the Walter-Eucken-Institut in Freiburg, and Professor of Economics at the Ruhr-University Bochum. He was Visiting Fellow at George Mason University (Fairfax), University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), and Hauser Global Fellow at NYU Law School. He has done research in competition economics, evolutionary and innova-tion economics, law and economics, and European integration. Currently, his main fields of research are (1) European competition policy: esp. competition, innovation, and IP law; rule-oriented competition law / structured rule of reason; (2) multi-level legal systems and regula-tory competition.
