Philippe Giabbanelli

Philippe J. Giabbanelli is a computational scientist primarily interested in modelling the impact of behaviour on health. He is a member of both the Chronic Disease Systems Modeling Lab (CDSM) and the Modelling of Complex Social Systems (MoCSSy) Program at Simon Fraser University. He is the recipient of the 2011 Peter Borwein Annual Graduate Scholarship in Mathematical and Computational Modelling of Complex Systems, and serves on the program committee of several conferences on social networks and modelling. His recent work was published in the Journal of Computational Science and Applied Soft Computing; a complete list can be found at aqualonne.free.fr.

Rik Crutzen

Rik Crutzen is a psychologist and e-communication specialist by background and obtained his Ph.D. within the field of health promotion. Dr. Crutzen is based at the Department of Health Promotion, which is part of the CAPHRI - the School for Public Health and Primary Care, Maastricht University, The Netherlands. The overarching theme of his work is how technological innovations can be used to greatest effect in the field of health promotion to increase the public health impact of these innovations.
