Agnieszka Rychwalska

Agnieszka Rychwalska, Ph.D. is a psychologist; she specializes in the application of complex systems theory to social sciences and neuroscience. In her approach she uses complexity tools - networks, computer simulations and modelling of dynamical systems - to understand the specifics of social and psychological phenomena. She has considerable experience in carrying out experiments on the social aspects and consequences of ICT mediated interactions: social influence processes over new media, patterns of communication in techno-social networks, medium-task preferences, etc.

Wojciech Borkowski

Wojciech Borkowski did his doctorate in biology in 2001 at the Institute of Botany, University of Warsaw. Since 1991 he has programmed many applications for scientific purposes, especially data mining and processing (Genetic Algorithm, Artificial Neural Networks, Rough Sets, Fuzzy Logic and Expert Systems). Since 1994, he has developed many simulation models of biological and social systems. He has been involved in numerous grants in U.S. (NSF, McDonnell), and in Europe (Polish KBN, EU).
