Dietmar Heinke
Dietmar Heinke is a senior lecturer at the School of Psychology, University of Birmingham. He has published 23 papers in the last 10 years in international, high impact journals. His research focuses on understanding human behaviour by developing computational models. His models describe a wider range of human behaviours such as visual object recognition, reaching and grasping, and social behaviour. Before joining the School of Psychology he completed an MSc in electrical engineering (Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany) and a PhD in Neuroinformatics (Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany).

Gregory Carslaw
Gregory Carslaw studied for his PhD in the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham. He has a background in psychology and artificial intelligence and his research focuses on developing computational tools for use in psychology. His research to date is focused upon agent based modelling in social psychology, and his research interests also include improving the realism of artificial agents and understanding how people process probability. Presently he's taking a break from academia and is employed as a board game designer, which is really just an application of some of these interests.

Julie Christian
Julie Christian completed her PhD thesis on social attitude formation at the University of Wales, 1998. Julie has an established track record in researching social attitudes, social identity and socio-legal aspects of housing behaviour (private and social housing) publishing over 40 scientific papers and government reports. As a direct extension, she also serves on boards of several UK charities and US companies.
