Jeffrey B. Demarest, M.Sc., Major, United States Army is an Instructor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned a M.Sc. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy. He has served the last 9 years as an Armor Officer in the United States Army. His assignments include Budingen, Germany and Camp Casey, Republic of Korea, and two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His research interests include nation reconstruction and rural development intervention simulation.

Sheree Pagsuyoin

Sheree A. Pagsuyoin, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. She held prior academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and as Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Virginia. Her research areas include: water and sanitation technologies in developing countries, surface water quality modeling, and emerging contaminants.

Gerard Learmonth

Gerard P. Learmonth, Sr., Ph.D., is a Research Associate Professor at the University of Virginia, where he holds dual appointments at the Department of Systems and Information Engineering and the Department of Public Health Science. His held prior faculty appointments at the George Washington University, Boston College, Dartmouth College, and Eastern Michigan University. His research interests include: complex systems and the modeling of large-scale socio-environmental systems and healthcare policy.

Rebecca A. Dillingham, M.D., M.P.H., is the Associate Director of the Center for Global Health at the University of Virginia, where she is also an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine.
