Sukaina Bharwani
Sukaina Bharwani is a Senior Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Oxford, UK. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Computing (Social Sciences) and a BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology. Her interdisciplinary research in Social Anthropology and Computer Science provides her with a unique range of qualitative and quantitative skills to carry out sustainable development and climate adaptation analyses in innovative ways.

Mònica Coll Besa
Mònica is a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Oxford, UK. Her main professional interests include the social aspects of climate adaptation, particularly through science-practice interactions and collaborations between different stakeholders. Prior to joining SEI she was the Project Field Coordinator at CARE International in Tanzania for the Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture (MICCA) pilot project that promotes climate-smart agriculture in smallholder farmer systems in the South Uluguru Mountains, Tanzania. She has a joint MSc Degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management from Central European University (Hungary), the University of the Aegean (Greece), the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics from Lund University (Sweden) and the University of Manchester (UK).

Richard Taylor
Richard Taylor is a Senior Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Oxford. He obtained his PhD in 2004 and joined the SEI in May 2007. As well as working across many EC funded projects, this role involves working on policy and sustainability implications - funders and clients include DfID, AfDB, SIDA, etc. He is also a Visiting Research fellow at the Center for Policy Modelling, Manchester Metropolitan University.

Michael Fischer
Michael D. Fischer is Professor of Anthropological Sciences in the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent and is currently Director of the Centre for Social Anthropology and Computing at the University of Kent at Canterbury. An anthropologist who has worked mainly in the Punjab and Swat in Pakistan, and the Cook Islands, his major interests are in the representation and structure of indigenous knowledge, cultural informatics, and the interrelationships between ideation and the material contexts within which ideation is expressed. He has received grants from the ESRC, AHRB, SERC, MRC, HEFCE, JISC, Leverhulme and Nuffield, on topics including ethnography of Pakistan and the Cook Islands, formal analysis, multi-media databases, coding methods, virtual reality, performance and large scale networked databases, historical anthropology and textual markup. Tahia Devisscher
Tahia is a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Oxford, UK. Her professional experience includes interdisciplinary research, project design and coordination, facilitation and training, and technical support for various organizations including the World Bank, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Vision, and Louisiana State University. Since joining SEI, Tahia has been involved in projects aimed at building local adaptive capacity to climate change in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Oxford, and holds a two-year research based MSc (Honours) in Environmental Science, Policy and Management jointly awarded by the University of Manchester, UK, Lund University, Sweden, and Central European University, Hungary. In 2008, Tahia was awarded the Development Cooperation Prize from the Belgian Government for her research in Borneo, Malaysia, on the sustainability assessment of palm oil biodiesel production.

Chrislain Kenfack
Chrislain Eric KENFACK is a holder of two Bachelor degrees, one in Philosophy from the University of Yaounde and the other in Theology from the Catholic University of Central Africa based in Yaounde- Cameroon. He obtained a Master degree in International relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon, specializing on International communication and Public action in 2012. Since then, he has worked as a Consultant for several projects dealing with climate change, the adaptive capacity and responses of the local people in the Congo Basin forests. Currently, he is enrolled in the Doctorate program "Democracy in the twenty first century" at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and is a Research Fellow for the Tri-continental South-South scholarship 2014, jointly implemented by The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) and the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs).
