Simon D Angus
Simon Angus is a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia and pursues a diverse research agenda unified by a complex adaptive systems paradigm and methodologies in agent-based modelling, data-science and numerical simulation. He is published in leading physical chemistry, biology, physiology, economics, educational and generalist journals. In the social sciences, he is pursuing a computational research agenda in the economics of technology coupled to a data-science agenda which seeks to yield previously unobserved economic behaviour through human interactions with technology.

Behrooz Hassani-Mahmooei
Behrooz Hassani-Mahmooei received his PhD from Monash University in 2013 for his thesis on agent-based modelling of climate change impacts on sustainability. He has been developing ABMs since 2005 in areas such as rent-seeking, trust, conflict, and migration as well as collaborating in multiple research projects focusing on classroom networking, injury recovery and dynamics of policy making. Behrooz is now an associate of Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics as well as a Senior Data Analyst at Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research, both at Monash University.
