Dirk Nicolas Wagner is research assistant at the Center for Public Choice and at the Institute for Informatics, University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He obtained a Licentiate in Economics from the University of Fribourg in 1996 and a MBA in International Management from the Royal Holloway College of the University of London in 1997. He is working on a Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Prof. Guy Kirsch and Prof. Juerg Kohlas. His research focuses on the question of social order for software-agents. Further fields of interest are (Agent-Based) Electronic-Business, Software Agents in Politics and New Institutional Economics.
