Dr Chris Goldspink has fifteen years experience as an internal and external consultant in organisation and management improvement. He is a founding partner of Joint Impact, a consulting firm established in 1995. Joint Impact offers a wide range of services in areas such as research and evaluation, strategic management, training and development, personnel management, and information technology. Research for his Graduate Diploma focused on groups as a basis for workplace improvement while his Ph.D. with the University of Western Sydney drew on recent developments in the theory of complex systems to better understand social and organisational change.
During 1992, Chris worked on a comprehensive cross agency evaluation of Commonwealth APS reform. A member of the Institute of Public Administration, Chris maintains a strong interest in public sector reform.
On behalf of the International Graduate School of Management of the University of South Australia, Chris is currently involved with the delivery of academic programs in South East Asia and in Adelaide. Subjects include Strategic Thinking and Competitive Advantage and Integrative case studies. These subjects are part of an MBA program offered by the University. He also supervises Doctor of Business Administration students in Singapore and delivers management training for the Public Sector Management Course in Sydney, Adelaide and Queensland, including the subjects People Management, Resource Management and Service Delivery.
