David Brichoux is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Kansas, studying American and comparative politics. His research interests include public opinion, the media, and agent-based modeling. His dissertation is an empirical study of the interaction between factual and normative elements of belief systems about distributions of wealth, based upon survey data from the United States, Europe, and Japan. He has taught comparative politics, international relations, research methods, and political theory at the university level, and plans to continue teaching and research after he receives his degree.
