Chung-Yuan Huang
Chung-Yuan Huang is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Computer and Information Science at National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He is currently conducting his dissertation research. His research interests includes: computer simulation in social studies, computational modeling of complex system, distributed artificial intelligence, and learning classifier systems on evolutionary computation.

Chuen-Tsai Sun
Chuen-Tsai Sun received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering (1979) and his M.A. degree in history (1984), both from National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992. From 1991 to 1992 he was with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California, where he participated in research projects on fuzzy neural networks. Since 1992 he has been with National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, where currently he is a Professor in Department of Computer and Information Science. He is currently engaged in research and teaching in the areas of creative evolutionary systems, web-based collaborative learning, and computer simulation in social studies.

Ji-Lung Hsieh
Ji-Lung Hsieh received the M.A in 2004 and now he is a Ph.D. student in Computer and Information Sciences at National Chiao-Tung University in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan. His research interests are network-based and agent-based computer simulation modeling on social issues and epidemics, and the evolutionary computation.

Holin Lin
Holin Lin is an Associate Professor of Graduate Institute of Journalism at National Taiwan University. She received her Ph.D. in sociology from University of California at Davis in 1995. Her major research interests are computer-mediated communication, technology and society, and gender studies. She has written on the social aspects of information technology, including social movements on Internet, digital divide and new media ethics. She had been participated in a three-year interdisciplinary project on 'Information Technology and Social Change' sponsored by National Science Council, Taiwan, ROC.
