Josep M. Pujol

Josep M. Pujol is a Ph.D. candidate in the Artificial Intelligence program at the Technical University of Catalonia. His interests are distributed artificial intelligence, complex systems, multi-agent systems, social norms and conventions, social networks, web intelligence among many others. His current research is focused in the study of dynamics in artificial societies; studying the recurrent feedback between agent's micro-motives and social patterns at the macroscopic level.

Jordi Delgado

Jordi Delgado is an associate professor at the Software department (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). His current interests are multi-agent systems from the complex systems point of view, process algebra (mainly CSP) and the use of first-class continuations (call/cc in Scheme). Nowadays, his research is focused on the emergence of stable patterns of behavior in systems of game-theoretic agents with interactions determined by underlying complex topologies.

Ramon Sangüesa

Ramon Sangüesa is a professor in the Software Department of the Technical University of Catalonia. He has a background in artificial intelligence, starting in systems for managing uncertain knowledge and moving on to learning systems and multiagents systems. His present interests are focused on the study of the emergence of cooperation in communities and its application to online collaborative environments and innovation systems.
