Michael Makowsky

Michael is a graduate student of economics at George Mason University . His work to date has a focused on the modeling of emergent social phenomena, such as urban crime, group formation, and religious migration, through the use of agent-based methodologies. Prior to studying at GMU Michael was a secondary school teacher and a professional writer in the finance and investment field. He received his BA in biology and economics from the University of Virginia.
