Sujai Kumar
Sujai Kumar earned a Masters degree in Information Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, in 1998, and a second Masters degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in 2004. He is currently a research consultant at the Center for Research in Cognitive Systems in New Delhi, India. He has also illustrated and co-authored the 'Mathematic for middle-school' textbook series (New Delhi, Tata McGrawHill, 1998).

Sugata Mitra
Sugata Mitra (M'84) was born in Kolkata (then Calcutta), India on 12th February, 1952. He earned a Ph.D. in the theoretical solid-state Physics of organic semiconductors from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India in 1978. He is currently Professor at The NIIT Institute and also Chief Scientist with NIIT Limited and created that organization's Center for Research in Cognitive Systems. He has worked earlier with United India Publications (database publishing systems), the Indian Institute of Technology (energy storage systems) and the Technical University of Vienna, Austria (Zinc-chlorine batteries). His current areas of interest include self-organizing social systems for primary education, and self-organizing dynamical systems. Dr. Mitra is a recipient of the Dewang Mehta Award for innovation in Information Technology - the Government of India's highest award in this area.
